Order Types

There are three different types of orders in ServiceMonster:

• Estimate – Customer wants a price for potential work to be done.
• Work Order – Customer has agreed to have the work completed.
• Invoice – The work for the customer has been completed.

Order types can be changed on the Order tab.

Unused Orders

There are two options for dealing with unused orders:

• Delete – If the order will not be used again, it can be deleted.
• Voided – To follow up with an order at some time in the future, mark it as voided.
