Tax rates are added to Estimates, Work Orders and Invoices to reflect tax collection for various government municipalities. To set tax rates:
- Click Company > Company Settings > Tax Rates.
- Click New Tax Rate.
- Add Tax Name [typically describes the location]
- Add Tax Rate.
- Click Save.
Tip: Always make new sales tax items when your sales tax rate changes. Just changing the old rate can cause problems going forward and possibly affect past tax related orders or reports.
