Routes are resources that you are able to schedule. Most likely they would be vehicles. Customizing routes allows you to differentiate them on your schedule and to assign default technicians.

Change Route Settings

  1. Go to Scheduling and click on the icon of the route you would like to customize.
    • Route Settings can also be accessed by going to Company > Management > Routes.
  1. Update the following fields:
    • Name – change to something that describe the route such as the van being used.
    • Phone – list the contact phone number for the route.
    • Services – add services that are provided on this route.
    • Image – choose between 4 van and 4 people icons.
    • Position – adjusts the order from left to right on the schedule.
    • Default Job Duration – set the default length of jobs.

Route Settings

  1. Click Save.

Assign Default Technicians

If this route always has the same technician, you can assign a default technician. This way, that technician is automatically assigned to the job when you schedule it.

  1. Under Default Technicians, choose the Technician you would like to assign.
  2. Click Save.

Show Route Names on Schedule

If you prefer to show the name of the route at the top of the schedule instead of van pictures:

  1. Go to the Scheduling > Options > Schedule Settings.
  2. Under User Daily View Detail Settings and User Weekly View Detail Settings, click the checkbox next to Show Route Text.
  3. Click Save.
