How do I use the Campaign Wizard?

There are five different types of campaigns that you can create in ServiceMonster. Each wizard walks through the same process to create a campaign, just with a different end result.

    1. Emails
    2. Letters
    3. Labels
    4. Call List
    5. Export

The following steps will walk you through creating a campaign.

  1. On the Marketing Navigator, choose one of the campaign options:

  1. The first step in the Wizard is to choose the filter mode. There are three filter modes to choose from:
    • Easy – provides 11 basic filter groups to come up with a list of accounts. Recommended for first time users.
    • Standard – gives more options to create custom filtered list.
    • Advanced – starts campaign from scratch and all filters are added manually.

Easy mode is recommended for first time users.

  1. Choose the Easy filter mode and click Next.

  1. The next step is to choose the Account Filter from the list of options. The DIY - Question Mark displays a brief description of the filter. Choose an option and click Next.

Option 2: Standard Filter Mode

  1. If you would like to customize your filters, choose the Standard filter mode.

  1. The next screen will give you options to limit the Accounts included by selecting from the following options. Set your options and click Next.

  1. The next screen gives you options to limit what Invoices are included. To choose Invoices that fall during a specific date range, choose the second option. Click Next.

  1. The next screen allows you to filter based off of Job date. You can choose to either include or exclude Accounts with a future job date scheduled. Set your options and click Next.

Results

For either an Easy or Standard filter option, the Results screen will pull up next.

  1. The next screen will show the Accounts that have been filtered based on the chosen criteria. The top of the screen will show a breakdown based on Accounts Found and Accounts Filtered. Click either option to toggle the list.

  1. The next step is to enter the Campaign Info. Change the name to be specific for this campaign, for example Spring Newsletter.

  1. Click Next and you will have the option to Save Campaign by clicking Finish.
